First of all thanks for your interest in commissioning me for some work.
Just read through this and you should have a decent understanding of how commissioning me works.
If not feel free to Note me with any questions you have that do not appear on the FAQ.
Commissioning me requires five things;
1) Commitment, I love taking orders and seeing them through. But if you have to cancel a job I more than understanding.
2) Patience, my skill takes time and diligence to pump out what you want. So understand that I really don't give out freebies.
3) A way to make payments, *PAYPAL, E-transfer or **Cash. It's what keeps the convention tables I do run.
4) I reserve the right to decline any requests. All commissions are for personal use only, in other words they may not be reprinted and sold or made into any other form of profit.
5) Finally, please refrain from posting in this journal entry and direct all your questions and orders to my Notes inbox.
**(Local City Only)
Basically, the closer you are to the top the more priority you have. If you choose to pay beforehand it may bump you higher up the list, clients who have not validated their "phases" in time will be moved down.
Prices are in CAD and vary depending on detail/complexity.
Additional Characters/Objects: $5 - $10 on top of the original price.
Sketches: $5 - $15
Line/Cleaned Work: $10 - $20
Full Digital Color: $15 - $25
You will contact me via the internet. (more info below)
If you're getting a DC, I will update you at the Sketch and Lineart phase before proceeding, note that I will not continue to work on your commission if you're not available to validate these phases.
I will be sending you a JPEG file of your finished illustration in a small resolution (50% of the original size.)
If you're happy with the final product you will then pay me via PAYPAL and I will send you the original JPEG file to finish the deal.
HOW SUBMIT MY COMMISSION AND PAY YOU?
You have the option of contacting me through DA Notes, Email, MSN or AIM. Personally I prefer talking it over online but if you're going to send me an email Deviantart Note fill out the following information
Commission type (Sketch, Line/Clean art or DC):
Commission description (Should be kept as short as possible with defining details for your character(s), please put down composition/pose ideas as well if applicable):
I only accept payments through PAYPAL, E-transfer and cash if you're locally in Fort Saint James BC that's it, please don't ask me of any other method of payment. My Paypal email is HeroVision@live.ca
Q: What can the illustration be of?
A: Just about anything, most people commission me personal online characters (Ragnarok Online, Gaia Online, World of Warcraft, etc.), fan art of a particular series (Manga/Anime) or Original Characters.
Q: How large are these "illustrations" of yours and what format are they in?
A: You will receive a JPEG file approx 1194x1780 pixels (portrait or landscape) in dimension.
Q: Do you draw Yaoi/Yuri/Hentai?
A: No, no and no. I don't mind drawing Shonen/Shojo-Ai though on most occasions.
Q: How long does each commission usually take you?
A: Depends on my schedule, I have a life too. I'll let you know approximately how long each commission will possibly take.
Q: What about backgrounds?
A: Honestly I'm not that great with backgrounds but if needed I'll try my best, I will be charging bg's as an "additional character/object"
Q: Are there refunds?
No, there is no return policy which is why its important that you validate all phases if you're getting anything but a sketch done.
